02 Jul When Will You Just Do It?
Nike has a slogan that says “just do it.” It is designed to make you feel like you can accomplish any athletic endeavor as long as you put your mind to it and “just do it.”
When it comes to fulfilling our purpose and accomplishing our goals sometimes we need that same gentle push. Oftentimes, we can find our biggest obstacle right in the mirror. We say we are too busy. We say we don’t have all the resources to get it done. We say it is not time yet. We say that we are not the right person for the job. We say that our calling must be a mistake. We basically come up with any excuse possible to avoid doing the things we know we are meant to do.
Scripture says that “I can do all things through Christ who strengtheneth me (Philippians 4:13).” In other words, there is nothing too hard for us because there is nothing too hard for God. It is not always just a matter of what we will do or how it is going to get done; sometimes it is just about when we will do it.
So, when will you just do it? No more excuses! No more delays! The time is NOW!
